This post box is at the top of the road leading down to our house, though you’ll find one in every village too! They’re usually in a sheltered spot facing away from the weather. If you find this one then pop in to see us at the studio which is just down the hill along the “main” road.
The post box is made from hand cut pieces of glass, assembled and fired in my kiln at home. The colours are made of individually cut squares of glass. These have been placed on a clear glass base and fused at a lower temperature to maintain a textured yet glossy finish.
This sun catcher measures 18cm by 4cm and has a small wire loop embedded in the top. It comes in a gift box with a loop of raffia to hang it where it can catch the light.
