Original watercolour of a bumblebee mounted and backed ready to frame 8″ x 6″
Painted in the Isle of Lewis by weaver, designer and artist Miriam Hamilton. I am inspired by the wildlife and scenery of the islands and love to capture the personality of the birds and animals. I primarily paint croft animals such as highland cows and Scottish blackface sheep, local birds particularly puffins and gannets and seascapes. I am however very happy to discuss commissions of particular animals, birds, plants or scenes!
