Original fused glass 'sunset over Arran'
A lovely fused glass art sculpture, size approx 300mm square. Designed and lovingly kiln fired to achieve the depth and sculptured appearance. Uses transparent coe90 glass.
My inspiration comes from a photo I took from the village Straad, on the Isle of Bute, and looks over the small island of Inchmarnock to Arran in the distance. The sunsets are quite spectacular from Straad.
The piece is presented on a hardwood waxed and polished base, with chrome glass clasps.

With the use of layered glass at numerous visits to the kiln, and combination of transparent glasses this really is a stunning piece to put on a window ledge. The photographs do not fully show the stunning effects that sun and light has on the piece. If you like the photos you will certainly not be disappointed in the art piece.
