Small original watercolour painting depicting the Stone Circle on Machrie Moor standing Stones on the Isle of Arran. The stone circle known as ‘Fingal’s Cauldron Seat’ named after mythic figure Fingal the giant.  One of the stones has a hole in it and this is where legend tells us that Fingal  tethered his dog Bran while he ate a meal in the inner ring.

Art work measures 14 x 9 cm and the painting is mounted in an ivory mount measuring 18cms x 13cms.  The item is not framed but will fit any 7 x 5 inch frame.
