Jet Spacer Necklace Notelets

Jet Spacer Necklace Notelets

These mini notelets are perfect for a short note to accompany a present or to tell someone you’re thinking of them. There are six notelets in the pack with matching white envelopes. A lovely ‘minding’ as we say in Scotland and a good stocking filler too! Blank on the back in case your message ends up a bit longer.

In 1960 Dorothy Marshall excavated a group of three cists discovered on the island of Inchmarnock, just off Bute. One of the cists contained the burial of a woman who Miss Marshall named ‘The Queen of the Inch’ and a lignite necklace and flint knife were found with her. This illustration is of the jet spacer necklace found in the cist and is a fascinating exhibit in the Bute Museum.
