Amethyst, or purple Quartz, is a gemstone associated with balance and protection. It also brings with it the traditional associations of the colour purple – spirituality, royalty and luxury. The design for these earrings was inspired by wild flowers on the croft. Wee bursts of colour. The amethysts are set into a halo of a silver plated sunburst.
Drop length 2cm on silver plated ear wires. Designed and created in the Isle of Skye, they come to you wrapped in tissue in a pretty organza bag along with information about the gemstone.
