About Rockvale Guesthouse

Rockvale has been in local fisherman Neil MacPhail’s family for the last three generations. The croft came to the MacPhail family after the First World War when the crofts of Balephetrish were allotted to returning servicemen on the Club System. At this time the crofts were all given names, Parkhouse, Hillview, Hillcrest and Rockvale to name a few. The surrounding croft is now rented out to a local crofter and used for beef cattle. The Guest House is run by Alison and her team. Neil works off the coast of Tiree in a creel boat fishing for brown crab, velvet crab and lobster. We hope that our combination of local knowledge and hospitality experience will help to make sure your stay on Tiree meets all of your expectations … and exceeds them! https://www.rockvaletiree.co.uk/
