Avril Thomson Smith is a Scottish Landscape Artist who draws inspiration from the Shetland Islands.
Shetland’s unique landscape is a constant source of inspiration for Avril. Having lived in Shetland all her life, she is intrigued by the ever changing colours, and seasons which bring a profusion of diverse subject matter which she captures through her vibrant acrylic artwork.
