Elope to Islay

Are you thinking about eloping or having an intimate wedding on the Isle of Islay, Skye, Jura, Mull, Arran, or somewhere in the Scottish Highlands? Choosing the best Elopement Photographer is definitely a tough decision as a couple. There are so many amazing artists all around the area and it’s not easy to find the right choice in the abundance of photographers out there.

I am a traveling photographer specialising in elopement and destination wedding photography throughout Scotland.
I am drawn to the laid back; barefoot brides with that wild windswept hair and if you’re not afraid to get your dress a little dirty from a hike or wet from waterfall mist, then we know we’d be the perfect match for your love adventure. You don’t need to look at my camera or have to know what to do with your hands, I am looking for the magic in the moments, creating visual poetry. I believe that nature is the ultimate venue and I love being surrounded by mountains and lakes, I truly feel at home in the great outdoors. I love to get inspired by your personalities to tell your unique story. Cause every story, every couple and every wedding is so unique and different.

If you need help with finding the best location or local vendors for your elopement, I’m happy to provide any guidance you need. If you need more in-depth planning assistance, a planning fee will be added on. If you want those epic photos with gorgeous landscapes in the background or on a mountain top but don’t want to hike several miles to get to them, I can recommend great locations.

Scotland is a place full of magic and myths, and I’ve come to know it as home.
I want to share my home with you in a way that makes you feel like it’s yours, too.
I’ll take the time to get to know exactly who you are and the adventure you’re after
While my photography style is earthy, even dark, with a moodiness to it, I am a very outgoing person to be around. I’m always there to make you laugh and have fun while we shoot.

The Celtic House

The Celtic House’s story begins in 1959 when the Roy family established a purpose built shop in Bowmore, Islay. What began initially as a shop that provided quality clothes and shoes at a time when people did not travel as frequently, expanded and evolved over the years increasingly stocking original items inspired by Islay and the wider west coast Scottish heritage. Today, the Celtic House is known throughout Scotland and beyond as a long established island business specialising in fine island Celtic and Scottish gifts, knitwear, jewellery, books, maps, many other items and original commissions.

The Blue Letterbox

The Blue Letterbox is a little shop showcasing some of the best locally made art and crafts from over 40 talented local artists and crafters from Islay, Jura and Colonsay. As most of our stock are one off, unique pieces we don’t have an online shop. But if you see something in our gallery or if you have something in mind, please email or telephone and we will see what we can do for you. Happy shopping!
